In order to avoid any delays in license renewal, prepare and submit your license renewal application to the Licensing Authority at least three (3) months before the expiry date of the license.1.0 Petroleum Products StorageUnder the Petroleum (Safety Measure) Act 1984, bulk fuel customers are required to have an approved storage installation and facilities. In addition, the approved storage installation and facilities must also have valid storage license issued by the relevant licensing authority such as the government agency and local authority.2.0 Storage Tank Design and InstallationDesign and installation of the storage tank shall comply to the following: MS 761 under 1982 Edition (Code of Practice for the Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids) issued by Department of Standards Malaysia. Requirements by local authority and other government agencies ie. BOMBA, Department of Occupational, Safety & Health (DOSH) and Department of Environment (DOE).
