High Performance Fluids for Maximum Protection of Percussion Drills
PETRONAS Rock Drill Oil is formulated with highly refined paraffinic base stocks and superior additives to provide maximum protection of percussion rock drills. 
It is developed with high quality tackiness agent and extreme pressure additives to meet the critical lubrication requirement of heavy shock loads of rock drilling operations. Additionally, it has good emulsification and adhesive properties that provide protective film for rock drill moving parts especially piston, rifle bar and nut, in environment where incidental water contamination is common.

This oil offers excellent rust, oxidation, and corrosion protections for metal parts that are exposed to corrosive environment. It also has typically mild odor and low toxicity that is suitable to the limited ventilation in mining operating conditions.

Applications Recommended for use in all percussion type air-operated rock drilling tools, such as jackhammers, drifters, tampers, rammers and centralized lubricators of crawler-mounted drill rigs operating in various climatic conditions.

It meets the performance requirements of rock drill manufacturers, such as Ingersoll-Rand, Gardner-Denver, and Sullivan, for medium and heavy rock drill oils.
